Individuality

On the Island of Gaia we support individuality, but there are some regulations.  All clothes must be appropriate.  One can choose what he/she wants to do for a living.  We are not very strict on the island but, if any of our rules are broken your privileges will be taken away.  If someone gets cocky and teases another because of their clothing, priveleges will also be taken away.  One of the few choices that are made for you is your schedule for your everyday life.  Everyone must wake up at a certain time in the morning and go to bed at a set time every night.  I feel that if it were left up to the people to decide what they wanted to do, they would just fool around all day.  These people would not be productive members of society.
